Uri Savir is an Israeli diplomat and politician. He served as a member of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) between 1999 and 2001. He spent his professional life on the frontline of peace making in Israel. Savir is Honorary President of The Peres Center for Peace and also writes a chronicle, the “Savir’s Corner”,:in the Jerusalem Post.
