This song is Noa and Gil’s very original version of “el ginat egoz”, written by Sarah Levi Tanai, an award winning Yemenite Israeli choreographer and songwriter who had a huge impact on Israeli culture. The English parts were written by Noa and Gil, to wrap around the old song and give it new context. This is something Noa and Gil used to do a lot at the beginning of their career. This performing was at Gabi Gazit TV show. In 2015 the performing duo will be celebrating their 25th anniversary ! this was their first major TV appearance, in 1990.
